Identify and verify that all the pieces are present.
Lay one of the side frames on a flat surface with the bucket frame brackets facing upwards and slide the bucket frame into the side frame as shown. The rear of the bucket frame is the side that has two plastic tabs riveted to the cross member. These tabs must face up. Push in both locking buttons at the same time and continue to slide the bucket frame into the side frame until it locks in place.
Slide the bucket frame brackets of the other side frame on the bucket frame. Push in both locking buttons at the same time and continue to slide the bucket frame into the side frame until it locks in place.
Stand the commode on the legs and insert the backrest into the backrest brackets. The bend in the backrest should be facing to the rear of the commode. Push the two locking buttons in at the same time. Slide the backrest down until it locks into place.
Place the padded seat on the bucket frame with brackets to the rear. The brackets must be place between the two riveted plastic tabs. Push the rear of the padded seat down until it locks into place.
Adjust each leg to the desired height by pushing in the locking pin and sliding the leg. When the leg is at the desired height, make sure the locking pin is engaged into a height adjustment hole.
Swing the seat up to be able to install the bucket or splash guard.
Place the bucket in the bucket frame of the commode. Place the splash guard in the bucket frame of the commode if it is going to be used over a toilet.
Push the release lever on the drop arm to the front of the commode to and let the drop arm lower down.
Swing the arm upwards until it locks into place.
